Boiler Enquiry Checklist: Steam or Thermal Oil
Tell us what your plant needs to heat, which fuel you have and where the equipment will operate. Use this guide to prepare a useful first conversation with Shandong Huayuan Boiler.

1. Start with the heating your process needs

If your process needs steam, share the required output in tonnes per hour (t/h), working pressure and steam temperature or condition if known. Include the process being served and operating hours.
For an existing plant, a current equipment nameplate or your process requirements can help explain the starting point.

Thermal oil heater enquiry
If your process uses thermal oil, share the required heat duty in kW or kcal/h, oil supply and return temperatures, available fuel and installation space.
Steam output and thermal oil heat duty describe different requirements. If you are unsure which system your process needs, describe the equipment or production line you want to heat.

- Fuel: give its actual name and available quantity. For biomass, include moisture, ash and an analysis report if available. “Biomass” alone does not identify the fuel.
- Location: tell us the country and city, available installation space and any known project requirements.
- Operation: explain the industrial process, operating hours and expected project schedule.
- Supply scope: describe the equipment you need and any existing plant equipment you intend to keep. Ask which auxiliaries, installation services and documentation are included in a proposal.
For waste heat recovery, share the heat source, gas temperature and flow, composition and required output. For industrial waste utilisation, provide waste composition and throughput. These projects need their own technical review.
Final equipment selection depends on the project details and engineering review. This checklist does not calculate boiler size or approve a fuel.
3. Compare with a relevant Huayuan reference
Look for a similar heating application and fuel. Each reference below describes a specific project; its details are not a specification for your plant.
